Bicske is about 1 hours drive from the capital city of Hungary, Budapest and is a small town. The Baptist church is led by Pastor Lajos Ratz, and a team of deacons and elders. The Lord has done great things in Bicske Baptist church. A super market needed the space where their church building was built so they arranged to have a new building built for them. The new building and the accompanying flats are now completed. In October 2009 Mike and Val Bryant spent a month in Hungary visiting our friends in Bicske, Esztergom and Nyergesújfalu. They were able to encourage the people in Hungary and to preach. See below a few selected photographs from their trip.
Visits to Bicske have included working parties (helping to construct the building), English mission week (teaching English to Hungarian children and adults), Pastoral visits and social visits - something for everyone. If you would be interested in visiting our Christian friends in Hungary, please speak to Mike or one of the other church officers. Web-editors' comment - I highly recommend a trip to Bicske to really appreciate what God is doing there!
